Raceway Park was a harness racing facility located in Toledo, Ohio. Its racing season traditionally began in March and continued through December, offering a full slate of live standardbred competition along with simulcast wagering throughout much of the year.

The property was originally constructed in 1949 as a flat quarter-mile oval designed for automobile racing. For more than a decade, it hosted various motor racing events and became a popular destination for regional auto racing fans. In 1959, the facility underwent a major conversion and reopened as a harness racing venue. The track was redesigned into a 5/8-mile oval to accommodate pacing and trotting events, officially launching its long tenure in standardbred racing.

Over the decades, Raceway Park developed into one of Ohio's respected harness racing venues. It regularly staged prominent events that drew competitive fields and steady fan interest. Among its featured programs were the Ohio Sires Stakes, highlighting top Ohio-bred standardbreds; the James Holmes Memorial Pace; the Hickory Lane Matchmaker Night; and the Buckeye-Wolverine Invitational Pace, which matched four of Ohio's best pacers against leading competitors from Michigan. These events strengthened the track's reputation within the Midwest racing circuit and helped sustain its identity as a key regional racing destination.

Raceway Park ultimately ceased live harness racing operations in September 2019, bringing an end to 60 years of standardbred competition at the venue. The closure was largely attributed to shifting dynamics within Ohio's racing industry, including the consolidation of racing licenses, increased competition from racinos and casino-based gaming facilities, and declining on-track attendance. The end of live racing marked the conclusion of a historic chapter in Toledo's sporting landscape, closing the curtain on one of northwest Ohio's longtime harness racing institutions.
