Raceway Park is a harness racing facility located in Toledo, Ohio.
Its typical racing season starts in March and ends in December.
Raceway
Park was initially constructed in 1949 as a flat ¼-mile
auto racing oval. Motor racing events were held there for more than
a decade before the track was converted to a harness racing facility
in 1959.
Today,
Raceway Park is one of Ohio’s top racing attractions.
It plays host to significant harness racing events like the Ohio
Sires Stakes, the James Holmes Memorial Pace, the Hickory Lane Matchmaker
Night, and the Buckeye-Wolverine Invitational Pace where the four
best pacers of Ohio compete against the best of Michigan.
The entire racetrack area is 5/8 mile.
